Cyubix: FIGHTERS!

Version 1.0

Cyubix: FIGHTERS! info

Cyubix: FIGHTERS! Is an action packed game with Characters from the Cyubix Series. It will be a platform fighting game with special gimmicks that will make the game more unique. It will have a Story mode that is not canon to the main story, an offline mode to practice, or fight computers, and an online mode where you can test your skills and fight other people. there will also be a ranked mode where a beginner will start off with a low rank, and as they win more, their rank will go higher. And of course if they lose, the rank will go down.

The Story

Cyubix and his friends, Bonstant, Viktor and Shinobi were just minding their own buisness at home, when all of the sudden they hear a knock at their door. they all go to check to see what it was but when they open it they dont see anybody but a note on the ground. The note was an invitation to a World Fighting Tournament known for having powerful foes and intense battles. The 4 agreed to go and show them how strong they really are. Once they arrive, they are greeted with a massive stadium with a large floating platform in the middle where all contenders will be fighting. They all look excited to fight, so they go to register and soon enough, they will be fighting new foes and having tons of fun doing so.

Game Mechanics

all characters will have a different moveset or abilities from each one of them. but they all have one thing in common.

Power Meter

All characters in the game will have an Power Meter that will let them either do a high damage move or make them stronger. Each character will have a Power Meter Ability that is based off of their characteristics. For Cyubix, he will go Super and just like in the first game, it will buff his damage, speed, and defense. Or for someone else, like Shinobi for example, his Power Meter ability is a fast flurry of slashes from his sword that will deal a lot of damage, commonly killing the opponent.

Weight Divisions

Like you would see in other fighting games, there will be different weight classes in this game.

Super Light

Fast, easy to defeat

Light

Commonly fast, slightly easy to defeat

Mid Weight

commonly average speed, average to defeat

Heavy

commonly slow, slightly hard to defeat

Predicted Tier List (on release)

Why is this tier list how it is?

The characters are placed here for these reasons:

BLAZE (S Tier)

Blaze was put in S Tier for his speed and amazing Unique Ability. Blaze has 5 Gears after his base form. His base form starts off Blaze with 5% attack power, 5% defense and 5% speed still combo heavy so dont underestimate it.

GEAR 1

Very short charge time, adds 5% to his attack power

Current stats: 10% Attack | 5% Defense | 5% Speed

GEAR 2

short charge time, adds 5% to his defense

Current stats: 10% Attack | 10% Defense | 5% Speed

GEAR 3

medium charge time, adds 5% to his speed

Current stats: 10% Attack | 10% Defense | 10% Speed

GEAR 4

long charge time, adds 10% to attack, defense and speed

Current stats: 20% Attack | 20% Defense | 20% Speed

GEAR 5

very long charge time, adds 20% to attack, defense and speed

Current stats: 40% Attack | 40% Defense | 40% Speed

GEAR 5 RULE: The player playing Blaze must perfectly time a very slow upper-cut move in order to unlock this gear, otherwise, blaze must go back to Gear 0. If the move hits your opponent, it will deal massive damage and can be used as a kill move. (Note: you can get hit out of the charge but wont lose your 4th Gear.)

Cyubix (A Tier)

Cyubix is a great basic character to start with, Hes viable too. But what makes him pretty good? its his combo game. Cyubix combos could possibly last pretty long, as long as the player knows what they're doing. His Strong Attacks are far range too so hitting opponents from a decent range makes him slightly campy too. His Unique Ability is also great too, allowing the player to select what Shard ability to use as a replacement for his Neutral Special. Once a shard has been activated, it can only be used for 10 seconds.

Light Shard

Slightly slow move, stuns an opponent for 1 second but only covers a small area around Cyubix.

Strength Shard

A insanely strong ranged punch that can kill early. (requires a long charge)

Ice Shard

Sends a wave of snow that can do serious knockback.

Water Shard

Summons a bubble around Cyubix to act as a Reflector. (works on only projectiles)

Grass Shard

Fires a large Tornado that will send opponents upward.

Poison Shard

When Cyubix hits an opponent, it will take small amounts of damage away for 3 seconds.

Fire Shard

Boosts Cyubix foward, can be used as a kill move. (can also be used as a recovery move)

Viktor (A Tier)

Viktor is a bit slow, so apporaching your opponent isnt the best idea. Its recommended to play patient and zone out your opponent. Most of his moves are projectiles, so its best to keep your distance. Some projectiles can be used to kill or to set up opponents, so it is also recommended to stay aware when playing, even you can get hit by some of your moves.

Shinobi (B Tier)

Shinobi is the fastest in the game, decent with combos, meant to be played carefully. Though Shinobi is quick and good on stage, his recovery certainly isnt the highest, but not crazy short either. Even for not having many good recovery options, hes a monster at keeping his opponents off stage.

Bonstant (B Tier)

Bonstant has some good range in most of his attacks, you could really play zoner if you wanted. Hes the kind of fighter that no matter how you play, as long as you have a good idea on what your doing, youll do just fine. His recovery is similar to Shinobis just a bit shorter. So you really cant afford to go of stage with Bonstant. his Unique Ability is quite useful at times, leading your opponent to be stunned for 1 second.

Polygon (C Tier)

Polygon isnt very combo heavy, but he can hit pretty hard. His air moves are some of the best in the game due to high damage and solid range. His recovery doesnt do any damage but does go pretty high, making it somewhat easy to recover. Although he has a good recovery, it can be hit out of making it a little hard to recover.

Golem (C Tier)

Golem is heavy so hes pretty slow in general. Not the best recovery either but also not the worst, and its safe to say that your pretty much dead once your off stage. But when Golem is on stage, hes quite decent at dealing damage. He has high knockback moves can can kill easily and on top of that he also has a really good Unique Ability. His Unique Ability gives him Super Armor that basically makes him untouchable, and can only last about 10 seconds and takes a little while to recharge.

Cynder (D Tier)

Cynders moveset is severely limited without a potion. It gets cut in half when he doesnt have one. But when he does, he will have access to more moves especially his recovery. Potions can be obtained through your cauldron in which you can get 1 random potion out of 5 possible options. Each potion has its own abilities making his moveset different for each one he uses.

Fire Potion

Gives Cynder fire moves that can burn opponents each time they're hit (can help recover)

Healing Potion

Heals Cynder by 30% each time he consumes it (cant help recover)

Poison Potion

Poisons opponent which leaves a lingering effect around them while also taking damage for 3 seconds (can barely help recover)

Blast Potion

Allows Cynder to move at a faster pace if consumed, but can severely help him recover if not comsumed

Strength Potion

Buffs all attacks by 5% for 5 seconds when consumed, will do no damage to opponents but will do high knockback when thrown

Proto-bix (D Tier)

Proto-bix isnt really a Go-To option for competitive. Hes weak, slow, slightly combo heavy, and just overall not great. His Unique Ability does help him out a lot, giving him a random move from the opponents moveset besides their Unique Ability. And its not a specific move, it is totally random meaning he could possibly pick up an aerial attack, a jab, or even a really good move.

King Slime (D Tier)

King Slime is the slowest in the game. Quite large making him super easy to hit, all moves are super slow yet super strong. All of his moves have a good chance at killing early, but still someone can cancel any of his moves just by hitting him. So even if you do land a hit on someone as King Slime, consider it a blessing. hes a super heavy so hes hard to kill, not only that he has a tether recovery so nots not all that bad either. And his Unique Ability is a crown throw where he can throw his crown at an opponent and could later be picked up whenever, pretty useful for set ups.

How would we know who else is going to get in the game?

this hasnt been confirmed yet, but we are thinking of either going live on youtube to show a video of certain updates for games, or progress updates for a new game coming up. Or we will annouce a video in our discord server and have the people watch it and see. But it wont be as simple as just telling you, it will be a small movie of some kind that will build up to the character reveal. Cyubix: FIGHTERS! will be relevant for a WHILE and we will most likely keep adding more characters unless theres too many. We also might add a Google form so people can submit their own character to add from our series, collab Characters may not happen or at least any time soon. On average, there will most likely be about 2 new fighters for the fighting game for each mainline game we release.
